On March 21, 2009, U.S. S.A.F. personnel and friends traveled to Task Force Empire Shield Headquarters in Jamaica, NY. 

 

U.S. S.A.F. provided weapons and ammunition, and arranged for Major John Bucciarelli, U.S. Army (Retired), "Blacksheep 6" from Operation Pine Plains, to conduct a seminar on MOUT Tactics. 

 

Following the excellent seminar, U.S. S.A.F. Personnel and friends acted as an OPFOR and defended sections of the Task Force Empire Shield HQ building.  Task Force Empire Shield Personnel then, using the tactics discussed in the seminar, practiced recapturing the building.

 

The Soldiers and Airmen involved in Task Force Empire Shield showed excellent motivation and esprit de corps, and were a challenging adversary.
